Asian commercial vehicle manufacturer, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus (MFTBC), has launched the new 2012 model Aero Queen/Ace large tourist bus for Japanese market.
According to the company, the new buses feature brake override system (BOS), which overrides vehicle acceleration when brake and accelerator pedals are pressed simultaneously and a new side-view camera which offers improved field of view on the side.
Fuso revealed that all 2012 model Aero Queen/Ace large tourist bus models will feature Mitsubishi Driver Attention monitoring System-III (MDAS-III as standard.
The MDAS-III technology will examine attention of driver with a white-line-recognition camera as well as other sensors and offer driver alert warnings, by alarms and through meter displays to reduce the possibility of accidents.
Fuso has merged its bus functions and operations under a new dedicated group, 'Fuso Bus Unit', as part of the company's 5-pillar strategy FUSO 2015.
