Luna I do have somewhat have an idea of how your characters play out but I'm not quite certain but the best bet would probably be a codemaster in my opinion.

Not exactly the mercenaries aren't needed they are more of a filler part. Even so there are going to be a lot of just npc mercinarries.
And for the pairing up I'm looking for either complete opposites or completely the same.
My methods are strange but they work.

Yes you will be playing the part of the mercenary you created but there will be other mercenaries who are simply npcs does that calm everyones nerves?
