If you've got a Droid Razr or a Droid Maxx, be sure?to start?checking for software updates.?Verizon Wireless has announced that it's starting to roll out Android 4.0 (better known as Ice Cream Sandwich) to the devices.

The Ice Cream Sandwich update will bring features such as Face Unlock (which allows your phone to recognize your face in lieu of asking for a password), enhanced voice input, and more. (I suggest peeking at our coverage of the operating system for more details.)

According to Verizon, this update will also?make the two Motorola smartphones "global ready,"?meaning that roaming will be enabled for over 220 countries. (You'll, of course, need to subscribe to?the appropriate international plans.)

Want more tech news, silly puns, or amusing links? You'll get plenty of all three if you keep up with Rosa Golijan, the writer of this post, by following her on?Twitter, subscribing to her?Facebook?posts,?or circling her?on?Google+.
