Chennai, Nov 17: AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today announced election for Anna Trade Union at Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC).
According to a press release here, she also announced poll commissioner and in-charge for conducting the same. The elections would be held on 1 December between 0600 hrs and 1600 hrs. The nominations would be accepted on 22 November (between 1000 hrs and 1500 hrs).
The nominations would be scrutinised the next day and the they can be withdrawn, if needed, before 1500 hrs on the same day. AIADMK MP Semmalai has been appointed the electoral commissioner for conducting the elections.
The in-charge include Thaadi M Rasu, M Abdul Hameed and S Palani. She sought the co-operation of all members of the union for the smooth conduct of the elections.
