When Milton Erickson introduced the technique, it was met with scepticism but it slowly became known to work for some cases and it is a technique that is still used today. But people like Mesmer are only the tip of the iceberg and now people are making money out of other people?s miseries. The fact that it is used to promote items for sale is not ethical and it should be understood that this is a form of manipulation which should hold liable those unprincipled lot.
